HEATHER FEENEY

Heather is excited to be back at work after a rewarding hiatus to start a family.

Heather's training began at an early age in Calgary where she attended The Young Canadians School of Performing Arts.  It was in Calgary that Heather got her first taste of professional theatre when she was awarded the role of Annie in Canada's first production of the Broadway hit.  She was just 12 years old.  After attending the University of British Columbia where she received a BA in Psychology, Heather moved to New York City to follow her dreams of becoming a professional actress.  She studied at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy as well as The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts (formerly known as The School for Film and Television).

Her New York credits are numerous with several Off Off Broadway productions as well as a U.S. National tour of Pippi Longstocking, as Pippi with the American Family Theater.  However, her most memorable role was Cheeseball the Mouse in the Off Broadway production of Christmas From the Heart at the Beacon Theater starring the legendary country superstar, Kenny Rogers.

After leaving New York City in 1999, Heather returned to Vancouver to continue her professional theatre career as well as begin her career in film and television.  Professional Vancouver Theatre credits include, but are not limited to, Trina in Falsettos, Columbia in The Rocky Horror Show, swing in the Canadian National Tour of Red Rock Diner and Judy Denmark in Ruthless where Heather was nominated for a Jessie Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Lead Role.  Heather had only been back in Vancouver for two years when she had the opportunity to once again perform with Kenny Rogers in a U.S. National tour of Christmas from The Heart, this time in the role of Rags.

Heather's film and television credits are extensive to say the very least.   She was one of the pioneers of motion capture in Vancouver playing the role of Fidget in the children's television series Action Man as well as playing several characters in the motion capture series Heavy Gears.  Other motion capture credits include Rosa Klebb in From Russia with Love, and Stacie in Barbie:  A Perfect Christmas, and A Camping We Will Go.

It would seem as if Heather likes to wear tight suits as she also has numerous credits doing full body prosthetics.  Some prosthetic credits include Dead Like Me, Deep Evil, Monster Island, Scary Movie Three, and Beneath

She also has numerous credits where her face can actually be seen too.  Some of those credits include Hip Hip Mom, Dead Like Me, Postal, Supernatural, Men In Trees, Aliens in America, Godiva's, Masters of Horror, The Collector, DaVinci's Inquest, Hollywood Off Ramp, and Jeremiah to name a few.

Heather's Fitness Instructor career spans two decades and although she remains physically fit, Heather is not currently teaching any classes.
